Dear friends, I will tell you in phase manner about our this status. Once upon a time we were grade I and gradeII,with basic pay of 5500 and 5000 respectively. Grade II was an exploited by GradeI,then we raised a demond to merge both cadre and form a new cadre JE as per CPWD.Pl note CPWD and MES service conditions are different,but demond was to create a new cadre as per CPWD.what deptt did,they merge us and create new cadre JE and put us on minimum basic pay ie Rs5000.friends detrimental schemes can not imposed but it happened.My point is our basic should be at per Grade I.It was actually a type of cheating.
