Dear friends, It is indeed a matter of immense pleasure to inform you that finally we are ready to go. And we have decided to choose the coming 16th of December, the glorious Victory Day of Bangladesh, to be that auspicious day to begin the journey of our long-cherished Bistaar: Chittagong Arts Complex. Prominent writer and social activist Begum Mushtari Shafi; the icon of liberation, a freedom fighter to the core, who had pioneered the formation of the Liberated Bengal Radio Station from her own home in March, 1971 and in the process lost her beloved husband and brother, has been befittingly chosen as the guest of honour to open the doors of Bistaar to the arts-lover community of Chittagong. Please do come with friends and family and join us at the informal opening ceremony to be held at our premises on 16th December, 2014, Tuesday at 4 P.M. sharp and be a proud witness to the history in the making.
