Dear friends, struggling with all the confusion of medical marijuana and politics. Medical cannabis is about a Patients right to their medicine of choice. If amendment 2 passes a patient that needs access to a different treatment, or controversial treatment will have the opportunity for their own doctor to be able to tell them about the miraculous healing of the cannabis plant. I would not allow myself to even try it. And I do know why. I was raised in Fl. I understood good from evil. I felt like medical cannabis was against the law and that meant it was a sin so I suffered and suffered. A doctor was not legally able to tell me what may stop my suffering and each of them had pain in their eyes. I kept searching there had to be a better way. I found it and it was medical cannabis all the way. I had friends suffering far and wide and I had to decide. That is when God whispered that is mans law Deb not mine. The next day I started my medical cannabis trial. My grand mal seizures decreased 1000% my first year. I went from 4 grand mal seizures a week to 4 a year. I knew I was on to something but I had several other kinds of seizures left still to conquer also. Amendment 2 does not restrict you to a few specific uses it allows you the Privilege of not having to fight for other fights later. Specific Disorders are too limiting for Patients needs! I have NOT seen a doctor in 23 years that would NOT have offered me medical cannabis if he had been LEGALLY able to! As a Patient we are trying to open a door for patients suffering to stop when there is really HOPE! I am a patient I knew I deserved the right that is why I fight.
