Decade of the Seer: Seeing Further With Him in Color, Distance and Detail (Katherine Ruonala, Brisbane, Australia) Signs and Wonders The Church is rapidly awakening. Since the time of the dark ages, the restoration of truths lost has been progressively accelerating and many are longing for the Church to return to the power we read about in the book of Acts. Yet I believe God never designed the Church to return simply to the standard at which it was birthed. God wants to do exceedingly, abundantly above this. The awakening that has already begun will not only break through to the original standard but also will keep going like an enormous eruption and take the Church way beyond anything we have ever dreamed of. We have entered a season of amazing acceleration! Signs and wonders, beyond anything we have ever seen, are about to break out, capturing the worlds attention and multitudes, even whole nations will come to Christ. For the Churchs past pain, shame and disgrace, there will be a double recompense! (See Isaiah 61.) Get ready. This is going to be glorious! Decade of the Seer We are in the decade of the seer: 57 which in Hebrew is Ayin, meaning – eye; to see, (and by extension), to understand and obey. We are in a season when the Holy Spirit is inviting us to see more than we ever have before. It is also a time where obedience is more important than ever. With increased pace comes a higher need for swift obedience. Just as driving a car at increased speed means a greater risk of injury when road rules are not obeyed, the increased glory and accelerated pace being offered to people is coming with a reverential fear and awe of God. More than ever before we need the eye salve of Revelation 3:18 to recognize our dependence on and need of Gods help. God keeps showing me the numbers 11:11 and recently spoke to me from John 11:11, These things He said, and after that He said to them, Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up. Lazarus means God is helper. The Holy Spirit is jealous to help us more than we currently recognize our need of Him, and this awakening is to bring us to revelation of His powerful help for those who will learn to ask for it. 5775 is the year of the window, 75 being the Hebrew word Hey, meaning a window (behold, reveal, inspiration). Recently the Lord took me into an encounter where I was drawn up into the Eye of God and invited to look through His eyes. The eyes are the window of the soul and as His children we are being invited to see things from the perspective of Gods heart. Seeing Further: Colour, Distance and Detail God is inviting us in this season to begin to look with Him with greater intention as He draws our attention to detail that we have never seen before. I heard the words, Colour, detail and distance. God wants to show us the full colour of what we are seeing; that is, we are being invited to experience the emotion of His heart in what He is showing us and the application and implications of what He is saying. (Photo via flickr) This will cause people to be moved by the compassion of Christ to pray with a fresh zeal. The effective and fervent prayer of the righteous avails much, and experiencing the heart of God for what we are seeing prophetically will bring a fervour to pray that will bring great breakthroughs. People will be mobilised by the compassion to fresh mission activity. Get ready for a new wave of missionaries being sent out. The Body of Christ is being invited to see further in greater detail. The Lord wants to show us more of what is to come if we will take the time in intimacy with Him and look with Him at the things He wants to share with us. We are about to see a dramatic increase in detailed words of knowledge and prophecy being released in the Body. The secrets of mens hearts will be revealed in radical detail on the streets as a sign and a wonder to those who dont yet know the Lord. Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7). The Lord is looking for those friends who will sit with Him in His counsel (Jeremiah 23:22), and see what He is revealing.
