December 19 was both my sister Laura and my brother Carls birthday. His was a home birth in Sabine Pass. When Laura came home from school, the doctor said, Happy Birthday. Guess what I brought you? A baby brother! She started crying and said, But I wanted a red bicycle! Also from November 12 to December 19, Carl and I were the same age. Every year, I would tease him and say, Ha ha, Im the same age as you! He would try to explain that even though we were both the same age number, he was still 11 months older than me. He would get so frustrated it usually turned into a fight. As the years passed, he would call me on my birthday, and say, Haha, we are the same age! Then it was my turn to argue and try to explain it to him. I cant even begin to describe how much I miss them and love them. Rest in peace. Muh!
