Despite not having Justin Gilbert (DB) and Josh Gordon (WR), Connor Shaw performance today was commendable. He had flashes brilliance and even bounced back after receiving a tremendous shot from a Baltimore Defensive lineman. For fun, I decided to compare his stats to Johnny Manziels. Manziel provided relief work for Cleveland quarterback, Bryan Hoyer throughout the season, including two starts. He ended up with 175 yards passing and 0 touchdowns. Shaw had 177 yards passing and 1 touchdown in his only outing with the team! NFL sources say that Shaw will probably be offered a multi-year deal and Manziels future is in question. Manziel was fined Saturday because he failed to attend a mandatory rehab session for his injured hamstring. This is just the latest in a long list of his off-field antics. Though nothing is certain at this point, but we do know at this juncture, that Johnny Football looks more like Johnny Screwball!
