★☆★DiD yOu KnOw ★☆★ There are 4 different kinds of processing disorders: Sensory, Visual, Auditory, and Language. Sensory Sacks are designed to help those who live with the Sensory Processing Disorder. A sensory processing disorder occurs when the central nervous system cannot properly process information that comes from the senses of the body. The disorder most commonly affects sensations of the skin, sensitivity to temperature changes, and other such extreme sensitivities. The brain is not able to filter through all of the information effectively. There are 3 types of SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder). The first, Type I, is sensory modulation disorder, in which an individual either over-responds or under-responds to sensory information. Children with this disorder may constantly appear to be anxious, stubborn, or on edge. Next, is Type II, sensory based motor disorder and this type results in an individual having problems with motor planning. The last kind, Type III, sensory discrimination disorder, shows as children who appear unfocused and disorganized. Which type does your child have?
