Did he really say that? Kanye West made the claim that he’s experienced a ‘glass ceiling’ because he’s black. Seriously? Blacks in America don’t have a chance in the music/entertainment business? Better not tell Oprah, or Beyonce, or Jay Z or, well….Kanye. This no-talent hack is worth 100 million dollars but he’s some kind of victim!?! Kanye – listen up! The glass ceiling is a term describing people who’s level of success is not up to the level of their skills and potential because of their minority status. Your minority status is the only reason anyone knows who the hell you are – especially your baby-momma. Tell me the liberal, loving, inclusive world of hip-hop would have been such a cash cow for you if you were white. I don’t think so. Yeah, there’s M&M but name me another big, white hip-hop star. That’s what I thought. I will agree that your success is not exactly commensurate with your level of talent. If it were, you’d be making minimum wage and the only way you’d be allowed anywhere near a microphone is to ask me if I want to supersize my Big Mac meal! It’s incredible how people with his mindset have to blame any failure on discrimination, even when there’s no failure, just maybe a slightly lower level of success. He’s offended that the fashion business doesn’t take him seriously. Hmmm, maybe it’s because there are thousands of more talented people than you that have actually studied and worked in the field and have accomplished something of note. Nah, it’s just racism. Anyone who is actually offended by true discrimination should be out of their mind with rage when some self absorbed, spoiled rotten, entitled little shit like this tries to garner pity because they’ve ‘had it sooooo hard.’
