Dillon MK IV, Henrob or Cobra 2000, whatever you want to call it, - TopicsExpress

Dillon MK IV, Henrob or Cobra 2000, whatever you want to call it, I just got one for Christmas. I have every type of welding equipment from a 1960s tombstone stick welder to the latest Miller Tig. But when I saw one of these little suckers being used by a friend, I was so impressed that I had to have one. Granted, they certainly arent cheap. I work with 22 gauge steel and need a minimum of heat transfer to avoid warpage. This really allows for some great seamless welding. I have access to a good plasma cutter, but it always involves a drive to my friends shop to use it. Im hoping this will also do the trick for basic cut-outs of flat steel stock of less than 1/2 inch. Ill post some pictures of results after I play with it for a week or so.
