Director General of Police Sri. Anurag Sharma with his team made a presentation today at Secretariat to the Honorable Chief Minister on the new vehicle designs for Police Department. Various designs of vehicles proposed to be procured by the department are shown to the CM. After eliciting views of all those present in the meeting the CM selected two models of cars one meant for Law and order patrolling and another for Traffic and Highway patrolling. The blue model with police logo is for law and order and the other is for highway patrolling. The law and order car and bike design was done by one Mr Gopi Fakeera and another done by Ibrand India, a design company. This work was executed through Administrative Staff College of India. The vehicles will be fitted with GPS and Tablet PC besides barlights, siren and PA system. Sri. Ramana Chary Advisor to CM, Sri. Papa Rao Advisor to CM and Sri. S. Narsing Rao Principal Secretary to CM are present in the meeting.
