Not just because of family being a central part of the films story. Not only due the amazing support Ive received from family, friends, and my local community. But because of a new bond that has formed during the last 9 months over this project. It may sound cheesy, but my truly AWESOME cast, crew, IndieGoGo supporters, Twitter peeps, Indie Film Spriters, my ECU/Greenville crew, and so many others gave so much to help me make this. People from all over the globe who may never meet in person, but somehow came together to form a family because they support this film. Today is November 3rd. Launch day for Displacement Welcomed! And I couldnt be more thrilled. Below is a link to the full film. Now streaming! I set out to tell this story of homelessness because it was something I saw daily. Yet it still wasnt being talked about. Random acts of kindness matter. My hope is that if you enjoy this story youll share it with a friend. My biggest takeaway from this project was just never underestimate people. Because people are awesome. And together people make the extraordinary a true reality.
