Do you ever start working on something, and you have a clear idea - TopicsExpress

Do you ever start working on something, and you have a clear idea in your head of what you want it to look like? But as you are making it, it turns into something else? I just had that happen to me. Now, I know different is not a bad thing, but it is a bit of a disappointment. I was a hairs breadth away from just taking the whole piece apart because I was so upset that it didnt turn out how I envisioned it at first. Perhaps thats just me being relatively new at wire weaving, so I know Im bound to make mistakes (and I am a bit of a perfectionist). I also know I am my own worst critic, and I did ask a friend for some input on What do I do?. He did help me change a few things to make me cheer up a bit with how it was designed, but its still not how I imagined it turning out. But what would you do in one of those instances? Would you keep working on it, even though its not what you wanted? Or would you just take it apart if you could? The piece in question is the one pictured.
