Do you have a cool science experiment that you think could be filmed using time-lapse? How do you teach kids about primary and secondary colors, absorption and cool science? Thats easy! Mixing science and technology, I created a video with a fun science experiment that you can try at home with your kids. This video uses time-lapse to show what happens when toilet paper absorbs colored water. Supplies required: 3 plastic cups water food coloring toilet paper Place 3 plastic cups down, filling two 1/2 full with water. Using food color, select a primary color like yellow and blue and squirt it in each of the cups creating two cups of colored water (one blue and one yellow). Take toilet paper and twist a piece about 8 inches long creating a wick. You will need two pieces, one for each cup that has colored water in it. The 3rd cup is placed in between the two colored cups of water. Put the wick in each of the colored cups of water making sure to bend each wick into the 3rd (empty cup) an watch what happens! Let us know or post a picture of your color science experiment.
