Does anyone besides the media really think Ray Rice hitting his woman is worthy of national news? Was he wrong for doing it? Absolutely, it takes a pretty weak man to hit a woman. But thats their private business, get counciling or whatever you need, but I could care less about a complete strangers private life. Do I care when the NFL actually saw the video? Hell no! Football, SPORTS in general are ENTERTAINMENT, nothing more. Just like Hollywood, I could care less about any of their private lives. Why should I concern myself? There are so many daunting threats facing our states, country and world that I feel it is ludicrous to waste our time and emotions on meaningless crap spewed at us by a media whos sole goal and purpose is to increase ratings. Between the idiocy of the cretins in Ferguson, the utter lack of leadership for our nation and the mindless concerns about atheletes, royal babies and so on, I just had to hop on the soapbox for a minute. We as a collective have lost sight of whats truly important and instead create our values based on what we are told is important by the picture box in our living rooms. Ok, rant over.
