Does anyone know what Representations are? Representations are basically letters written to the prosecution (which could be police, the Director of Public Prosecutions, the RMS or a council) asking them to drop or reduce some or all of the charges made against you. Representations are often remarkably successful at eliminating the charges or significantly reducing the charges and/or changing the police facts. Given how effective they can be, it is a wonder that more criminal lawyers don’t use them! Our Video and Blog post has more.
