Doing more with less? The author of today’s Our Daily Bread - TopicsExpress

Doing more with less? The author of today’s Our Daily Bread reminds us that Pharaoh required the Israelites to make tons of bricks without the very necessary ingredient of straw. They were working harder and doing more with less. This is not really sustainable, but it is often something we all have to do. By the way, I’d hate to live in the structure made of those bricks they made without straw. When you find yourself in that position, remember that God is supporting you. Don’t be like the Israelites that “became so discouraged that they didn’t listen when God said through Moses, “I will rescue you . . . , and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm” (6:6).” God will sustain you just like he sustained them. “In dark times, it’s comforting to remember that God is our deliverer (Ps. 40:17). He is always at work on our behalf, even if we can’t see what He is doing.” So press on my friend and trust in God. odb.org/
