Domestic violence is an ongoing problem in the world today! Moms and dads need to teach their sons that a relationship is a partnership and not an ownership! Moms and dads also need to teach their daughters that you cannot change a person unless they are truly willing to change and that abuse isnt to be tolerated because you love that person and they keep saying they are sorry! Too many lives are being lost and too any hearts being made cold! We live in a society where the majority look the other way because they dont want to be involved and a few who have good intentions but are more of a burden than they are help! We as a society need to get back to the grass roots of what made our country great and that is to put down our devices and spend more time talking and listening to one another! If we give our neighbors a little of our time we just might give them an outlet when they are feeling trapped and overwhelmed! So instead of striking out at their spouse they may reach out to you to have that shoulder to cry on or have that ear to listen intently! We are at rock bottom as a society so what could it hurt??
