Dont miss out on a blessing because it isnt packaged the way that you expect it to be. - Author Unknown. During our life we form opinions, collections of thoughts that define our choices. But if they are wrong then we will make bad choices and influence others in a negative way. Remember the story of the princess who had to kiss the frog and that must have put her off a lot. But she did so and the frog became her prince. The lesson is dont judge people by the cover. Dont judge people by what you, your family and friends judge that person to be because your opinions could be wrong. A family can be a group of people all of the same opinion due to all the members experiencing the same thing and then convincing themselves that what they think is right - but they still may be wrong. Dont judge a book by its cover. We meet people all the time for reasons. Mostly because they can help us or we can help them. Humans are supposed to mis with one another to learn from each other and to enjoy each others company. I have used this example before and I will here. years ago I was working on a logend and this young guy joined us and he had mean Maori dude written all over him. I was being judgmental and didnt like the look of him, and he would give me the mean look and strut around etc. I was short and this guy was tall, big and black (his words). Finally I went into a hut one day and he was there and we both stared at each other and then for some strange reason I said, Why do you try to look so tough all the time? (or something like that. And Torrence burst into laughter totally losing his big bad mean look and he told me that it was simply to make the other-bros happy, he did it for them, he was faking it. Over the next few years he and I became close friends and he would tell me many stories about his family and his life. You see I judged him wrong and found out my mistake. Some years later in a paper mill where I worked the exact same situation came up and I did the same thing, this time with a white scruffy guy. He and I became good friends too. See I am learning. I have learned over the years to now judge people or blessings by what they are or what they look like. We have all learned that the cover of the book may be boring but the book awesome.
