Dr. Jeannie here....up early on a Saturday morning to attend a seminar and super excited! Methyl-tetrahydrofolate reductase, MTHFR, is an enzyme that is responsible for the process of methylation in every cell in your body. Methylation is a core process that occurs in all cells to help your body make biochemical conversions. If you have this genetic mutation, you will have a much harder time getting rid of toxins, which can lead to some very serious illnesses. Today I am gong to learn about research and studies regarding MTHFR and how to test for this common genetic variant! If you are interested in hearing more about this...let me know.
