Driving back home from work at 5:00 p.m., I turned on NPR (National Public Radio). The pro-democracy protest in Hong Kong is the first item on the news headline. There is a short interview of Chan Kin Man, with some background noise hailing for true democracy and the urge for CY Leung to step down. At that moment, I feel the powerful impact of the protest even though I am in a far away town in Idaho. Though I am not very optimistic of the outcome given the history of the Communists, however, I deeply appreciate the courage of my fellow Hong Kongers. May God Bless everyone and hope a miracle will happen!
