Due to the previous cold night Big Beam fished a little harder in the latest Saturday open match. Well done to Roy Maddocks on winning a very close affair by 2oz with his 24lb 12oz of quality carp caught using meat on the method feeder from peg 20. In a very close second with 24lb 10oz was Richard Gilletts fishing from peg number 9. In third place fishing the feeder with 18lb of carp was Dave Kelly fishing from peg number 15. Our next open match will be held on Far Hope this coming Thursday, see you there !!
