During this year edition of November Music festival in ’s-Hertogenbosch Robert is presenting: Monoid, a.k.a. My New Speaker (premiere) Kinetic speaker installation based on the construction principle of a gyroscoop, with the 360º freedom of rotation on three axis. After working with speaker movement on the vertical plane, the falling speaker installation in theatre performance “Cover, After Trio A” directed by Andrea Božić | Tilt, and movement on the horizontal plane in the “Soundtrack voor een imaginaire film” a rotating (Leslie) speakers installation and performance made in collaboration with Horst Rickels (November Music 2012), the design and experiment in spatial composition for three dimensional speaker movement will be premiered on this year edition of November Music. The Smallest Sound At The Biggest Distance Composition for a continuously growing orchestra. Anyone who owns the packaged composition with the score and the instrument, becomes a performer in this orchestra. The composition has a beginning but no end. Every time a performer plays the score, the composition continues. The time interval between the individual events can range from a few seconds to a few years. The distance between the performers can vary from very close (in the same space) to very far (on two sides of the globe). This way, the orchestra continuously grows in the number of its members and spreads out around the world with its performers. The package will be available for purchase during the festival.
