My husband and I started noticing early on he was not developing and hitting milestones like our other children and we were always told by family members it was because boys are slower than girls. Doctors ensured us he was fine and just taking his time. By the time he was 3 he was still not talking, having major melt downs, we were at a loss of what to do.
