EDDIE’S SAFE … BUT PLEASE BEWARE Two days ago we posted that Beagle Eddie was missing from Penestanan Kaja, Gianyar. His concerned owner Laure searched far and wide and found Eddie listed on a dogs for sale website at anjingdijual/kota/bali. He was advertised for sale or for exchange with a Pomeranian. Laure tracked the man who had listed Eddie to an Ubud establishment, where we think he works, and where she reports there are many Pomeranians. She had to buy Eddie from the man who listed him on the website and reports that the owner of the shop had many times seen her together with Eddie. BAWA is investigating. Meanwhile we again warn everyone, including the people of Penestanan Kaja, to beware of dog thieves and to always report the theft of a dog. If your dog is missing, check animal markets and pet shops, and check on anjingdijual/kota/bali. Yesterday we got a report from the Canggu area that a white miniature Schnauzer was snatched by a bike rider, placed in a box and ridden away. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR DOGS.
