EDUCATED FOOLS The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7 A man that schooled on one of the best universities in the world with several masters degrees was crossing in a boat, while the boat man was paddling him across the big river, he was asking the boatman if knows the history of several authors he said no, he asked if he knows about the cosmos, he said know, the man continued on several subjects and topic, the boatman said he didn’t even pass out from the elementary school, the man started laughing at the boatman telling him that illiterates has no place in this time of the world, then the boatman asked him if he knows about swimmology, as the man was trying to correct his grammar for it was it was so poor and to tell him that there is nothing like swimmology the boatman dived into the river leaving him to paddle the boat which he doesn’t know how, the boat finally capsized and the educated man died. His knowledge though vast couldn’t save him. You know nothing when your knowledge can’t save you at the point of distress and on the face of death. The fools that despised knowledge didn’t do that because they refused to go to school, but because they don’t have the fear of God in them. Knowledge that can save you is not acquired in the place of learning but in the fear of God. The aim of knowledge is to bring salvation to one, when what you know can’t save you from doom, then your knowledge makes no meaning. Hellfire is an inevitable doom that is awaiting all man except for those that has real knowledge; real knowledge is the knowledge that is able to save one from the most dangerous doom that await all man; hell. You know nothing when you know not God. Biology, Physics, Cosmology, History etc. can’t save you if you don’t know God. If you know these alone, be sure they can’t save you on the day it matters most; the judgment day. On that day it’s those with the knowledge of God that can stand.
