EH Residents with teens looking for a driving school, please beware of Guardian Angel Driving School in Redlands. We just recently had a horrible experience. My daughter had her 2nd lesson and the instructor showed up 20 minutes late. He then dropped my daughter off late as well. When she got back she said we just drove around aimlessly and he didnt teach me a darn thing!. The 3rd (and final) lesson I he was on time but then dropped her off 35 minutes late!! Not knowing where your child is for 35 minutes is so incredibly scary! The next day when I called Guardian Angel I spoke with a Manager who then transferred me to the owner. I explained the situation to the owner and he asked me Well did you call your daughter when they were late? Um, what? Im not calling her when she is driving!!! Isnt that illegal? Wow. I then proceeded to tell him the rest of the story. I then said Im not sure if you are a parent or not but not knowing where your 16 year old daughter is for 35 minutes is so incredibly scary!!! And he was late twice. At the end he said nothing, I honestly thought he hung up the phone. When I said Hello? he replied Yes? I said you have nothing to say, no apology, no we are going to talk to the instructor? he said Nope. I said are you serious? Nothing? He again said Nope. I hung up on him after that and filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Please check the complaints there as well.
