ENDEAVOUR TO TRY THE SPIRITS Beloved, believed not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world ( 1John 4:1). There is a need for us to try and test every spirit that speak to us and this is only possible if and only if we carry the right kind of spirit in us which is obtained through the words of God. Just like an entire sea of water cant sink unless it gets inside the ship, similarly the negativity of this world cant put us down unless we allow it to get inside of us. We cant always control who walks into our lives... But we can control which window we throw them out of and this is still possible if we carry the right kind of spirit in order to be able to identify the fake/real ones. Test every thing, hold on to the good (1Thessalonians5:21). In this case what are we gonna use in testing? It is the tester which in turn is the words of God. If you have not found any living church filled with the true spirit of God where you can worship and learn of God in this world, then know that you are the problem with all the churches youve visited so far (quote). Like my friend #UtitofonUdom will say The worst kind of war in this type of our country is knowing God but refusing to worship and honour him as God; thus CONFUSION AND RESTLESSNESS. Therefore, Lets equip ourselves with the words of God which will act as a yardstick for knowing the right spirit.
