ENGLISH MOVIE SCHEDULE AT UCI CINEMA FOR THURSDAY NOVEMBER 20th THROUGH WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 26th: THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 1. *** *** THIS FILM IS RATED T ALL AGES ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND THE FILM. *** *** The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 in 2D Rated PG-13 (T) Directed by Francis Lawrence Staring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth Thursday THROUGH Sunday: 1910 Monday THROUGH Wednesday: 1930 Synopsis and Trailer available at IMDB at the following link: imdb/title/tt1951265/?ref_=nv_sr_1 On occasion show times might start a little later because they want to give everyone a chance to get through the concession stand and get to their seats before the movie starts. However, do not rely on this since we are now having our show times at the same times as Italian movies and there is a tight schedule that must be kept. There are also about 15 to 30 minutes of trailers and some commercials prior to the movie which begin at the listed showtime. So technically speaking the actual movie can begin anytime within a 15 to 30 minute window. Dont count on that though. There have been some rare occasions where due to time constraints the trailers and commercials are entirely skipped and the movie begins at the listed show time. TICKETS: The ticket booths open at around 30 to 40 minutes prior to the start time. With the caveat that the may open later. No promises sorry. Tickets for 2D are 5.00 Euros for all ages 3 and up. Tickets for 3D are 9.00 Euros for all ages 3 and up. 3D glasses cost 1.00 Euro per pair. You can keep them for use at another movie. So if you already have them from another movie theres no obligation to purchase them again. Yes you can buy or reserve your tickets online. The service is offered via the UCIcinemas.it website and is only available in Italian (though some browsers might offer to translate the page). Buying or reserving your tickets online costs an additional 1.00 Euro per ticket. Reserved tickets need to be picked up and paid for 30 minutes prior to show time. Please note that it might be the case that the movie youre seeing is not present on the website. This does not indicate that the film isnt being shown. It just means that it didnt get posted on the website. It has also recently come to my attention that if you reserve your tickets online youll be shown a full price rather than the discounted price. However, that will be straightened out once you get to the cinema. Im not sure if this also applies to online purchase but when I find out Ill post that information here. PLEASE REMEMBER that at Italian cinemas tickets have seat assignments. So if you want to sit in the back say in back or in front or the middle. Quick Italian Lesson (but the folks at the ticket center have a decent grasp of English) Front Row: Fila Davanti Middle Row Fila Centrale and Back Row Fila Dietro. Theyll do their best to accommodate your request. On your ticket you will find your seat number (Posto) and row letter (Fila). Let me also request that you try and sit in the seat on your ticket. Yeah yeah I know but when in Rome...do as the Italians (because Italians are NOT Romans...just ask them hehehe). Italians also frequent these movies and might feel awkward about you in their seat and you end up looking like the ugly American. DONT BE THAT GUY . LOCATION: The UCI Cinema is located across the parking lot from the Emisfero Mall in Fiume Veneto (just part Pordenone). Here is a link to Google Map directions from Aviano to the Emisfero Mall: goo.gl/maps/wXA3g ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: MOST IMPORTANTLY (so whyd I post it in the second to last paragraph?) check in here on about 1 hour before you head out for the cinema for a confirmation that all the films are up and running. In the past due to technical issues beyond the control of the UCI staff films had to be canceled. If a film has to be canceled due to technical issues I will do my best to post it here well in advance of the movies showtime. ABOVE ALL ELSE....enjoy the show and help spread the word about The Reel Wyvern, the English movies showing at UCI and SHARE the HECK out of this post. Thank you all!
