ENJOYING OVERFLOWING HEALTH BY PASTOR PHILLIP OYETUNJI WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY (5TH NOVEMBER 2014) INTRODUCTION: God is vitally interested in our health and well being. He wants us to enjoy overflow or abundance of health and life. 3 John 2 says Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. Jesus, the Son of the living God revealed His purpose of coming that is quite similar to this. John10:10b says I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In all areas God wants us to be in health, be it in our spiritual life, or in our relationships, or in our finances, or in our physical health. This study looks at Gods desires for us to be healthy, to overflow in health to others and the part that we have to play in making these divine desires for us a reality. May The Lord bless us as we study in Jesus mighty name! Amen! CENTRAL BIBLE TEXT: JEREMIAH 33:1-11 A. Gods Desires You To Overflow In health Health could mean either of these two. 1. The state of being free from illness or injury; It means good physical condition, physical fitness, well being, good trim or good shape. 2. A persons mental or physical condition God does not want us to be sick but to be healthy and strong in order to worship and serve Him. Also, when we are looking at one area of healing and health, Gods desires and provision are for every area of our lives. Not only that, God wants you to be so healthy that others also through you can become free from sickness and healthy to worship him.
