EXERCISE OF THE WEEK!! The purpose of this exercise is to support the lower spine when performing a crunch. Start lying on your back with knees bent With your feet and knees pointed forward Feet flat on the floor Place your hands palm down under your lower back Slowly lift your shoulders off the floor, keeping the neck straight When pressure is felt on the fingers under the lower back, lower shoulders back onto the floor And Repeat * Remember to keep your shoulders relaxed throughout movement Remember to consult with your Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist before attempting any new exercise.
