EXHORTATION FOR THE DAY (25th October 2014) Greater Than The Past Dearly beloved, we give thanks and blessings to our Lord and Maker for the gift of life. It is by the Lords grace that we are alive not by our own righteousness. We say Hallelujah be unto Your name, our strong Tower and Refuge. Amen. Yesterday (24th October 2014), we were exhorted to confess our faith even in adversity (Faith Confession Amidst Intimidation). We learnt in John 9 of the blind man at birth who received his sight when he met Jesus Christ, and was forced to confess Jesus as a sinner but he stood his grounds in faith before the Pharisees, turned the heat on them by declaring, One thing I know; I was blind but now I see, whether he is a sinner or not. He even went on to ask the Pharisees if they also want to be His disciples. Glory be to God! Today, the Lord God is telling us that, we will be Greater Than The Past. You might have witnessed, seen or enjoyed great things in life in the past days, weeks, months, and years. They are just the tip of the iceberg; just the rehearsal of the actual event; you have not seen anything yet. Wait until you are taking through the greater things God is about doing in your life, and you will see and give Testimony in the assembly of Gods people. Not only the children of God will marvel at your Turning Point, unbelievers also will see and turn from their ways to follow the Lord. Some of you are asking how can this happen? Others are saying, its been said over and over again, nothing new has happened. My dearly brethren, the answer to your questions and agitation is simple. Keep On Holding On To The Faith You Have Found In God. In Haggai 2:5, the Lord says according to the covenant He has with you when He took you from the bondage of Satan, His Word remains with you so fear not. If you stay in the faith and do not renounce the Lord even in adversity, you will be greater than the past. The blind man in John 9 became greater than his past when he held on to the faith in God when intimidated. Dearly beloved, Hold On To The Faith and you will be greater than the past. SHALOM! Haggai 2:3-9 AMP Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Is not this in your sight as nothing in comparison to that? Yet now be strong, alert, and courageous, O Zerubbabel, says the Lord; be strong, alert, and courageous, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, alert, and courageous, all you people of the land, says the Lord, and work! For I am with you, says the Lord of hosts. According to the promise that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit stands and abides in the midst of you; fear not. For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake and make tremble the [starry] heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land; [Heb. 12:26.] And I will shake all nations and the desire and the precious things of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with splendor, says the Lord of hosts. [Isa. 60:5; Matt. 2:1-12.] The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts. The latter glory of this house [with its successor, to which Jesus came] shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place will I give peace and prosperity, says the Lord of hosts. **@TVMI##
