Earlier tonight we stopped into Physicians Immediate Care because - TopicsExpress

Earlier tonight we stopped into Physicians Immediate Care because Ive had a cough for 3 weeks that wont go away, and it seems to be getting worse. It (literally and figuratively) sucks not being able to breathe and, it was starting to affect the rest of my health. It took us almost 20 minutes to see the dr even though there were no other patients; the entire trip to PIC lasted abour an hour. The dr gave me a prescription, but the only pharmacy open at the time was the Rite Aid on 395. We drove out to Kennewick and I waited in line for about 10 minutes before being told my medicine wouldnt be ready for 2.5 hours or about 10pm. I was not thrilled. We spent some time at the mall but ended back at Rite Aid for the last 90 or so minutes. On the way back to Rite Aid I started complaining to Mishelle about all the time we waisted and whatnot but in the middle of my gripe session I reslized how ungrateful I was acting. I was not feeling well and we have (hopefully) competent doctors who can help us regain our health. We have good insurance to help us with the cost. I didnt have to wait days, weeks or even months for medicine; I was able to get it in hours. We had the means to travel to get the medicine as well. Yes it was late. Yes we are both tired but, we are healthy, our baby is healthy and we are blessed to live in a country such as this where such conveniences exist. I am humbled and grateful.
