Early last night, I didnt realize that Lukey had left the gate open when I let the dogs out. The kids arent suppose to use that gate, but evidently he was playing catch and the ball went in the dog area and he had to get it. He forgot to shut it. Lesson learned, but anyway...our doggies must have had a grand ol time romping and playing in our muddy creek AND I believe they even went back to the field in back of our house where they got full of cockleburs! :/ This all happened without me even realizing they had escaped! Seeing as how I had just given them showers the day before.....I was not amused. :( Giving doggie showers at 9:00 p.m. + mini haircuts to get out the cockleburs on a Sunday night was not on my list of things to do!
