Earthquake in Hiroshima Around south Japan, there was a rather big earthquake(but no Tsunami) 2 AM in the morning on 14th March. By chance my friend Gabriela from Rio de Janeiro(ex-classmate in England of mine) and her brother took a trip to Hiroshima yesterday. They were shaken by the earthquake while they were sleeping at the hotel in Hiroshima. They must have got shocked because of no earthquake in Brazil. However any serious damage was reported. Our buildings in Japan are strong enough against big earthquake, but weak in big Tsunami. Any way I hope the Brazilian visitors have a nice stay in Horoshima today.
