Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter July 24, 2014: Cancer Leo Home & Family Late last night the Moon entered Cancer. Tuesday the Sun entered Leo to join Jupiter which entered Leo last week. Cancer is the caring and nurturing sign. It rules anything to do with home and family. Leo is the creative and expressive sign related to children, loved ones, and the arts. People with a Cancer Leo emphasis want to create a wonderful home and family. They are typically loving and protective parents who genuinely want the best for their children. They are also usually interested in food and cooking as a hobby or profession. But the needs for water Cancer and fire Leo are quite different. Leo is the most naturally confident sign of the zodiac. Cancer the most insecure. Leo says, “it’s all about me and you need applaud and adore me” while Cancer says, “I want to take care of you and I’ll do anything to please you.” So if you are in a Cancer Leo relationship, or if these signs are emphasized in your horoscope, you will need to make adjustments. The clinging nature of water Cancer can put out the enthusiasm of the fire in Leo; and Leo’s fire can boil Cancer’s sensitive emotions. Cancer holds on to what is safe and familiar. It is the introvert seeking secure emotional attachments. It’s more comfortable being around what is familiar such as their home and family. On the other hand, Leo is much more secure, outward and expressive. It is the extrovert wanting to meet and greet people and being on stage and in the limelight.
