Ed Wells Partnership Program Administrator Job Description October, 2014 The Ed Wells Partnership (EWP) is a joint SPEEA/Boeing initiative offering professional development, technical training, career development/coaching and conference grants to SPEEA-represented employees. Who should apply - SPEEA represented employees in the Puget Sound who have: • A proven record of strong performance • Established a solid technical foundation at Boeing • A passion for life-long learning • A focus on providing exceptional learning resources to the SPEEA represented population • Experience with multiple organizations/functions at Boeing • Participated in Ed Wells Partnership classes as a student, and perhaps as an instructor • Self motivation and the ability to manage many detailed projects effectively • A proactive approach to work assignments with a focus on first time quality • A willingness to do what it takes to get the job done well • A desire to have an impact on the critical skills and career development of SPEEA represented employees • Leadership experience at Boeing • An interest in shaping Ed Wells Partnership programs and • A desire to expand their skills and knowledge in project management, leadership, mentoring, and business management Job Description Lead a variety of activities in support of the Ed Wells Partnership organization including: • Identification, coordination and deployment of Ed Wells Partnership learning events • Collaboration with Boeing technical leaders and other stakeholders to ensure EWP offerings meet SPEEA represented employee needs and are aligned to Company objectives • Project management responsibilities associated with schedule, budget and procurement • Participate in and lead teams to support EWP strategic goals and objectives • Coordinate with other EWP staff to collaborate and improve the delivery of programs and services Skills and Qualifications • Foundational knowledge of Boeing gained through experience in various organizations/programs/business units • Familiarity and experience with EWP programs and classes • Previous experience leading process improvement efforts • Excellent collaboration and working together skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Self-directed and able to lead the development and successful delivery of project objectives • Extremely detail oriented with experience managing multiple projects Reporting Relationships • Will report formally to the SPEEA Executive Director, but will be responsible to the Ed Wells Partnership Co-Directors (SPEEA and Boeing) for day-to-day work assignments Contact Information Maria Nelson - 425-965-4316 (EXT-Nelson, Maria)
