Education Minister failed to streamline the Department: NPSU Jammu, Oct. 01: Raising serious questions over the credibility of Education Minister to stream line the Education Department, National Panther Students Union (NPSU) today lambasted the Tara Chand for its failure. Addressing a press conference at Party office, Partap Singh Jamwal (State President NPSU) said that within just the period of nine months five Directors have been replaced in the School Education Department Jammu which clearly shows that something is going wrong in the department under the noose of Education Minister Tara Chand who is also Deputy Chief Minister of the state. Transfer of five Directors of the department, within this short span pointed out that the corruption and favoritism is rooted in the department. “May be the directors are not capable to run the post or they could not fulfill the demands of Education Minister”, stated Partap. “The Board of School Education is also headless for the past much time and the post of secretary is also lying vacant owing to which studies of the students is suffering”, said Partap. For the past much time, State Board of School of Education remain in news for paper leakage and thus affecting the carriers of the students. Demanding inquiry in this regard, Partap Singh warned the state government to stream line the education system as soon as possible unless the government has to face the aggression of the student’s community
