Egyptian President al-Sisi was confident he could depend on Americas assistance to fight the threat of Islamist terror. After all, Islamist terror is impacting daily on the lives of Americans in homeland America. But the Egyptian President did not take account of the American Presidents insatiable appetite for self-harm, cost what it may in American lives and American well-being and American security. The scourge of Islamist terrorism was tacitly encouraged by a clueless US administration still ploddingly reading instructions in the Diplomacy for Idiots manual for beginners. That Islamist scourge has now spread like wildfire throughout the Middle East and into continental Europe and mainland US. The American President, meanwhile, is still fixating on punishing people who do not abide by his wishes - provided these people are not Islamists, of course. Accordingly, he punishes US allies such as Israel and Egypt. Islamists, meanwhile, get a Stay Out Of Jail Free card - which as we all know is way better than being put in jail in the first place. Read Zvi Mazels lucid analysis of Egypts predicament, and how the American President is hustling Egypt out of the sphere of US influence. While the EU chooses to totally ignore the issue - even as Europe falls increasingly into the Islamist sway. Zvi Mazels article is frightening for the truths it reveals. jpost/Middle-East/Analysis-Under-siege-Egypt-looks-for-allies-379915
