Ellen G White most favorite hymn: To her death the song We have heard was her favorite song. This song was written after Ellen Whites vision about the language of heaven. The man who wrote it was there when Ellen White had this vision. It was originally called A Better Land. But it was changed to We Have Heard. And the hymn remained one of Ellen Whites favorites throughout her life. Friends have noted that she sing it through her final illness and even during the last week of her life. Perhaps we have heard it was so dear to her because it reminded her of her first vision.This was the vision where Christ Himself gave her a tour of heaven. Tim Pardon has joined this together with another song that is almost ageless its over years old.It was at least a years old at the timewhen this song was written and about it was a years old already.
