Empower: verb (used with object) 1. to give power or authority to; to authorize. The only person you should empower is YOURSELF. Here is a way that worked in my life. Often we feel helpless and that life is out of our control. Sometimes stuff is out of our control, but how YOU choose to react to that stuff is 100% under your control. One very simple empowering choice you can control is what you eat. You gain incredible confidence and sense of accomplishment when you choose to eat healthier. Start slow and look at each meal as an opportunity to become stronger and more powerful. Champions know that small steps toward a bigger goal is what winning is made of. Dont think of the number of pounds you want to lose. Think of the meal choice in front of you each individual moment. Be present in that moment. Choose the healthier option. Thats the goal. Now repeat that. Accomplishing a goal is not about doing everything right, but knowing what not to do and when not to do it. Now go and be your best badass self!
