All through last week we tried to establish the truth about how meditating on Gods word is the sure way of keeping the enemy at bay in our life. How can we constantly meditate on Gods word in this ever busy world where many things compete for our attention? Taking a clue from David, a man with an unparalleled thirst and longing for Gods word. He turned Gods word into songs and constantly singing the lyrics, makes assimilation and retention easy for him. Little wonder his prophetic writings are called: The psalms of David. The type and lyrics of music you constantly listen to, will determine what will constantly echoe in your heart and eventually in your life. Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Music is not just a food for the soul, it is also for the spirit. The big question is: what quality of food is your spirit being fed with? #selah#
