Escape From Planet Earth - REVIEW Starring: Brendan Fraser, Jessica Alba, Rob Corddry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jane Lynch, Paul Reubens, William Shatner, Jonathan Morgan Heit, and Ricky Gervais. Only when I started writing this review I noticed that Escape from planet Earth is a film from 2013. And I was surprised because its been advertised as in cinemas now and I only watched it IN CINEMA last Sunday… A movie from 2013 in cinemas now? I thought it was a mistake so I checked it and nope- its not. And what is the film about? An astronaut Scorch Supernova (Brendan Fraser voice) is perceived a hero on his planet. His next destination is a secret planet (Earth) which sent an S.O.S. signal. Scorch doesnt realise that no one has ever returned from that planet and the natives dont treat arrivals from outer space friendly. Scorch gets in deep trouble but fortunately his brother Gary (Rob Corddry voice) comes to the rescue. Its a story of the type of Planet 51 or Space Chimps. The one for which you can take your children and they will enjoy it very much- because there are aliens in it who have many adventures and its funny. But you might as well wait for the DVD and watch it at home. Sadly only 5J.
