*(Felix Charm Gills Idea for Sonic Boom Blaze)* Hey there Sanctuary, Felix Charm Gill here (although who else would it be?) with my idea for a Bodacious new Blaze for Boom (now say that ten times really fast). So the biggest change would be a design resembling this (just add sports tape!), and the reason for that is that I think if Blaze appears in Boom (and considering that Marines in I think its highly likely) then they should portray her as more of an exotic Princess warrior girl than the Original Canons female Shadow. So this means shes, well, the exotic Princess archetype. And a fierce warrior, and a bit socially awkward when shes not doing diplomacy. As for her fire powers, keep them, of course, but stop having her consider them a hindrance like in Sonic Rush and Sonic 06 (she seems fine with them in Sonic Rush Adventure, though). Now, Sonic Boom (the game) takes place in an unfamiliar land to our heroes, right? This, combined with Marines presence, hints that Blaze may well be in the game, unlike Shadow & Silver, who would likely be relegated to cameos if they appeared at all. So imagine Team Sonic (+ Amy, but I guess shes part of Team Sonic in Boom, soooo...) being brought before Princess, no, lets make her QUEEN Blaze the Cat, for questioning as to who these mysterious strangers are. Of course shed be persuaded to aid our heroes by the Silver Tongue of Knuckles. Or something. Maybe you fight a boss to prove your worthiness or something. As for Sonic Boom (the TV show), Blaze could serve essentially the same role, maybe Eggman attacks her homeland (I cant stop thinking this would work best as a more Tribal situation, yknow?) and Sonic & Co come to the rescue.
