Essendon Football Club and Alcaston Gallery are excited to announce a photographic competition and exhibition based on AFL football and community! The competition seeks to encourage young people in remote, rural and city based communities to capture the positive effects of footy and how it enriches their everyday lives in new and innovative ways. 12 images will be chosen as finalists to be reproduced into limited edition prints for the exhibition. The judge for this competition will be Essendon Football Club superstar Patrick Ryder. Essendon Football Club will acquire the A/P1 of all 12 selected photographs and they will be on display at their new High Performance Centre at Melbourne Airport. This unique initiative encourages all artists, art workers and all lovers of AFL to participate and be in the running for the opportunity to win a personalised guernsey signed by Patrick Ryder + $1,000 cash.
