Evelyn Glenda Odell October 7, 1933 ~ October 17, 2013 Evelyn Glenda Draper O’Dell, 80, of American Fork passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 at her home surrounded by family. Glenda was born October 7, 1933 in Orem, the daughter of Edna Mae Draper. She married Leonard Francis O’Dell on August 9, 1952 in Fresno, CA. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Leonard passed away in 2010. Glenda grew up on the Provo/Orem Bench and graduated from Lincoln High School. She loved quilting and enjoyed her time camping with family and friends. After retirement she and Leonard served as camp hosts. Glenda was an avid gardener and received several awards for Yard of the Month. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Glenda was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings. She especially enjoyed her nursery callings. She loved to serve others and thought highly of all her neighbors throughout the years. She is survived by five children: Christie (Dennis) Reimschussel, Am. Fork; Carole (Dale) Bartholomew, Springville, Wesley O’Dell, Am. Fork; KayLynn (David) Hale, North Salt Lake; Gina (Brad) Dedrickson, Salem; 31 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; four siblings: Malon Kiggins, Rex Kiggins, Daisy Coomes and Sherry Kiggins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Mae and grandson, Luke Morris. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the American Fork City Cemetery, 26 West 600 North, American Fork. Family and friends may attend a viewing Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Condolences may be sent to the family at olpinmortuary.
