Every Sunday I ask everyone to check in and set their standard for the week ahead. Usually this happens in the private clients only group but today I wanted to show the public how we do it. People should take a moment now to make a plan for the week ahead. Worst case scenario? You have a lot of stuff going on this week and you know you cant hit your usual standard. No point stressing out about it. Whats the best you CAN do this week? Do that and then next week, get back to your usual standard. Best case scenario? This is a good week to hit a little closer to your optimal macronutrient targets, get a little more fruit and veg, or a little more fiber. This is week youre confident you can hit some new performance benchmarks in the gym. This week youre extra enthusiastic to set an even higher standard for yourself. Tell me about that. Lock it in and live up to it. Also acceptable? coasting along, making good progress, not feeling under any pressure and quite content to just keep doing what youre doing. DECIDE RIGHT NOW what kind of week youre going to have. Lock in those training sessions and see them as non-negotiable. Lock in your meal plans, or for some of you who are comfortable doing it on the fly by now, thats fine too. Tell me whats up and give yourself some LEVERAGE. Any good news and success stories from the previous week? I want to hear those too. Anyone have some feedback theyd like me to interpret while taking another look at the numbers for their intake targets? Thats what Im here for.
