Every once in a while, you get a reminder that you need to be more appreciative of what you have. My reminder came tonight. I have taken for granted that I am able to have my wife and children here in Saudi Arabia with me. There are MANY people here that only get to see their loved ones face-to-face on a limited basis. I get to see it every day that I come home from work. And through this, I have been able to gain a different perspective on a few things. I was able to see just how bad I take things for granted tonight. God bless anyone that has to be separated from their loved ones for an extended period of time in order to make ends meet for them. To me, the measure of a man is not about what material possessions they may have. The measure of a man is about the willingness to do whatever it takes to make sure his loved ones are taken care of and provided for. God bless any/all families that have to endure time apart just to make ends meet.
