Every weekend we have between 25 and 50 underage drinkers smashing bottles, dropping litter, desecrating graves and generally creating havoc , when we phone two Officers arrive ( after maybe 30 minutes ) as soon as the youths see them they scatter, last weekend we had the Fire Brigade out twice because they were setting fires, why can you not arrange for patrols to tour the Southern Necropolis, the Police Station is 400 yards away, ( sorry Greggs is 300 yards away, I know which one wins because the only time I see an Officer on foot is going or coming from Greggs ) and I believe that as far as the Police are concerned as long as they are the Southern Necropolis they are not elsewhere causing trouble, it would take five minutes, as the local Police know who they are and where they will be ??, is it out of sight out of mind. It is getting out of hand when you are leaving your Flat and the Concierge warns you not to walk your dog in the Necropolis because of the behavior of the youths. I fully understand that the Police have other more important issues at times, but I assure you it is a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt or worse. I wish this to be passed to the Chief of Police Scotland , maybe I might get a reply other than phone 101 Yours Mr F Hart
