Everybody knows Im a guitar collector.. Preferably an electric guitar but theres a line between what I collect and what Ill actually use for a show/gig.. Indeed I have dozens of guitars that hasnt left the studio not been on a real gig.. Which is the main difference between my endorsement instruments and my collection instruments.. For me a guitar has to feel right, resonate right against my body, its has to have that little extra to take it over the top as my personal wow factor and most of all the playability (ie: neck, hardware and pickups) need to be able to handle what in trying to accomplish.. Now in no way am in claiming to be a virtuoso but I surely know what I like.. And one thing great about the electric guitar is that builders/luthiers are always trying to take it a but further each time with innivation and technology but still something simple like a Les paul and strat/tele style designs are always the basis for anything and believe me Ive played loads if them and own loads of them also.. I never really paid much attention to wood, neck types, pickups, tremolos and string gauges etc until about 2 years ago when this whole journey began as a Ernie Ball- Music Man artist.. It has changed my total overview of how I play, what I play and I think most of all why I play. When I look back and read up and learn about the electric guitar one name seemed to pop up a lot and that name is Leo Fender.. This man has changed the guitar world much like how apple did with cell phones with the iPhone.. The basis for anything to follow be compared to.. And if I dig a bit I find that after leaving his founding company he started a company that I proudly belong to as an artist music man and further more as he leaves music man and starts up G&L guitars the legendar Ernie Ball buys out Music Man from the bank and thus these two legendary entities became one.. So you see theyve all tied together somehow.. I tip my hat to Ernie Ball/ Music Man for the wonderful job theyve done building some of the most innovative guitars ever released in modern times.. The game changer and armada in more recent years are amazing guitars and to me probably in the top 5 of all Electric guitars.. And their strings are nothing short of just legendary.. With that being said the new guy intown is this guitar called the majesty.. Its the most innovative guitar in my opinion yet and surely changes the game once again.. Check out this short video review and be mind blown.. Btw getting mines in 6-7 weeks :) youtu.be/NgGYadiBAY4
