Everybodys going crazy over this Ray Rice incident. My take is if you really give a shit about Janay Palmer (thats his wifes name if you care to know)... then I would think youd be sending messages of support and hope that their marriage counseling is going well. I would also think that youd be happy that the league spoke to her personally to get to the bottom of the whole situation. Seems like they put in a lot more work to resolve this situation than the media (or the spectators) . I think theyd know more... you know since they saw the actual tape and everything. I dont blame people for thinking what they think. What Ray Rice did was a despicable act. But the problem is people never look at the entire situation. I was shocked when he got 2 weeks as well. And for what he did he may have deserved being suspended for a whole season..... but you cant ignore the fact that as a couple they did all the right things to repair the damage (that they BOTH played a part in). and honestly I think at this point a good person who cares about other people would wish them well instead of thinking that a higher punishment would put an end to ALL domestic violence.
